Earth tones are here to stay, but make room for reds and purples.

Neutral Earth Tones – Warm beiges are still trending. These colors are timeless and perfect for a minimalistic, classic look. They work well in nearly any setting, especially for lifestyle or editorial-style shoots. These warm toned colors go great with deep greens, maroon, and even a warm toned shade of black!

After the millennial grey craze of the 2010’s, we have firmly moved on to bold and bright colors to complement warm beiges.

Incorporating trending colors like purples, browns, blues, and red into your photoshoot can elevate your images while keeping them stylish and timeless. Here are a few tips:

  1. Balance Bold Colors with Neutrals
Pair deep purples or reds with warm browns and beiges for a harmonious look. For example, pair a deep purple blouse with a sleek camel coat.

  2. Use Blues for a Calming Effect
Deep blues and light blues, work beautifully for serene outdoor settings. Light blue works beautifully in flowy midi dresses or a linen blazer.

  3. Play with Layers and Textures
Combine different shades of the same color family, such as lavender with deep purple, and add textures like knits or velvet to create depth and interest in your photos.

  4. Accessorize with Red
Red can be bold, so use it as an accent. Think deep red scarves, shoes, or statement jewelry to add a pop of color without overwhelming the outfit.

  5. Let the Location Guide You
Consider the backdrop—browns work perfectly for wooded areas, blues complement water or sky settings, and purples and reds shine in urban or studio shoots.
